Amateur Opossum Actress

Figured I should submit this because it's been making it's way around tumblr.  This is a spread from a book I made last semester.  I ended up doing an original story about an animal talent show.  All I knew was that I wanted to draw animals, but we needed to do something reasonably narrative.  Eventually I came up with the talent show because I was reminded of a show they did at the San Diego Zoo where they showed off some animals' natural behaviors they had put on cue.  I'll probably share a few more of the spreads at some point.

This was done a combination of digital and traditional.  I did the drawing in acrylic ink and finished it and the background in photoshop.
